What to include in your enquiry
- The exact model designation from the engine nameplate or your parts list (for example F4L912, 4BTA3.9-G2 or TAD720VE)
- Quantity, and whether you need a complete engine, a power unit, a generator set or spare parts
- The rating your application needs, if the listed table for that model shows more than one
- Destination port or city, so the quote can use the delivery terms on record (FOB, EXW, CFR, CIF, DAP or FCA)
- For spare parts: the part number and the engine series the part belongs to
Before you place an order, confirm in writing: the listed specification for the model, the scope of supply, the price, the delivery window (listed as 15–30 days for engines and power units, 5–15 days for parts) and the warranty that applies (listed as 1 year or 1,200 hours for engines, 3–6 months for parts). If a listing page states its own delivery or warranty figures for a specific model, confirm those figures for that model.
Enquiries by product line
For engines, name the brand family and the exact model designation — Deutz air-cooled or water-cooled models, Cummins variants from the 4BTA3.9 to the QSK families, Volvo TAD or D-series models, or Perkins 1000 Series and 404D-22 models. If the engine is a replacement, add the machine it will drive and a photograph of the nameplate; the plate designation, not the machine's badge, is what the quote is built on. For generator sets, state whether you want a complete set or a genset-drive engine, plus the five specification lines: required rating, duty (standby or continuous), voltage, frequency and destination port. For marine engines, add the shipboard frequency and the load pattern. Each of those details removes one round of clarification from the exchange.
Enquiries for spare parts
Parts enquiries move fastest with three identifiers together: the engine model designation, the part number, and the engine series the part belongs to. Deutz parts are grouped by series (912, 913, 914, 1013, 2012, 2013, 1015, 2015, 413 and 513) and Cummins parts form a separate line; a component name without its series and number cannot be quoted reliably. If the part number is worn or missing, send clear photographs of the part and any stamped markings, and ask whether the part can be identified from them and confirmed before you order. For overhaul work, send the complete parts list for the engine and ask for it to be quoted as one scope, and ask for any companion items your list may be missing to be flagged before shipment rather than discovered with the engine open.
What to check in the reply
Check the reply against the listed specification for the model or part numbers you named: the rating row or part fitment, the scope of supply, the price, the delivery window and the warranty should all be stated so you can verify them line by line. Check that document before you place the order — in particular the rating basis for genset duty, the exact variant code for engines, and the fitment for parts. If anything in the answer does not match the listed data on this site for that model, ask about the difference before you pay; a discrepancy found at the enquiry stage costs an email, and the same discrepancy found at installation costs a project.

The office address on record is 10-709, CBD Wanda Plaza, No. 93 Jianguo Road, Chaoyang, Beijing, China 100022. If you write in your own language, include the model designations and figures in numerals as well — designations and numbers cross languages without translation risk, and they are the part of the enquiry the quote is built from.
